Citizens alerts: the French Service Information and Populations Warning

Alertes Citoyens is the French information and alert service for populations on mobile phone.

The Alertes Citoyens application allows you to receive personalized alerts and consult the vigilance services offered by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy:

- Weather alertness

- Vigilance raw

- Air quality (Ademe)

- Futé bison

What types of alerts can you receive?

- national alerts, example: a national vaccination plan

- Departmental alerts, example: a weather alert in your department

- Local alerts, example: a water cutting notice on your street

These alerts cannot exist provided that the entities authorized to produce them have provided them with the service.

The alerts are personalized and correspond to the profile you define (your gender, your year of birth, the address of your main residence).

You can create other addresses (your workplace for example), and also indicate the places and periods of your trips in France and abroad.

For some alerts, you have the possibility of contacting the authorities, providing your testimony, sharing the alert by email and on social networks, indicate that you are not affected by the alert.

Who manages the service and how is my personal data used?

The service is labeled by Proxima Mobile, the service portal for citizens on mobile terminals.

The company Effigeo manages the service.

All the data you provide is used only in order to send you targeted alerts, this data is not communicated to third parties or used for commercial purposes.

Who are the entities that create and manage the alerts?

Alertes Citoyens offers the possibility to all public entities (ministries, prefectures, cities and other services) as well as private entities under a public mission to subscribe to the service and to be able to communicate to citizens.

The four vigilance services automatically generate alerts when the trigger threshold does not define the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy is reached.

The Alertes Citoyens Service is issued only for information and could not be exhaustive.

Effigero has only one obligation to retransmit the alerts, which are communicated to it.

Google can in no case be held responsible for any malfunction of the service.
