The units of Black Beacon come in two rarities, as 4 star and 5 star. What's great is that the lower rarity units are not only viable, but also sometimes outperform their higher rarity counterpart. This feels promising in regards to game balance in the long run. Our Black Beacon tier list is here to help you pick the shining stars of all the characters.

S Tier Characters - Best Characters in Black Beacon

Our S tier units in Black Beacon are best of the best. Their traits and kits that excel will make any team composition a breeze.

Florence Destruction, Fire	+ Huge AoE damage inflicted with little effort in combos, moveset even feels slow compared to other unit combos + Currently the strongest Destruction unit in the game - No time to waste in spamming her attacks or it will dispel her passive skill
Zero Assist, Light	+ Given for free and to maximum Potential by playing the game + The only unit in the game to give buffs to critical attacks of other units in the team, also buffs teammates Attack
Ninsar Breaker, Dark	+ Functions amazing both as main and sub DPS with her Ultimate skill + Gives shields to self and also to other teammates on switch + Great shield uptime from low cooldown on skill
Azi Assist, Thunder	+ Excellent debuffer who lowers the targets' damage resistance, Attack and Defense + On higher Potential, further slows down enemies movement, feasible because she is a 4 star

Asti Assist, Water	+ Easiest obtainable healer, pretty straightforward heal procs + Strongest heals in the game
Logos Breaker, Light	+ Minor passive healing for great versatility in any team composition, great sub DPS and support in one - Requires highest potential to revive a teammate once per battle which is a high investment
Li Chi Destruction, Thunder	+ Super strong DPS of the thunder type, spamming the combo deals a lot of damage both AoE and single target + His Ultimate still allows him to restore his own health so he is not helpless - Tradeoff to high damage is a very specific combo that could be difficult to master and he may need support to stay alive because he consumes his own health
Hephae Assist, Fire	+ Provides teamwide taken damage reduction, but it needs to be reapplied often + Buffs the team's Attack while her damage reduction is up, also heals the frontline character while the target is burning from her skill
Ming Breaker, Fire	+ Makes any damage received by the targets AoE by spreading any kind of damage taken to enemies linked by Skill 1 + Skill 2 both buffs team and debuffs enemies further with her higher Potential

B Tier Characters

By virtue of higher effort and higher investment to unlock the stronger traits of their kits, these units are ranked in the B tier.

Ereshan Destruction, Dark	+ Teleporting around the field makes her harder to hit and allows her to deal damage fast - Noticeably lesser DPS unless boosted with her extra Potential
Viola Breaker, Ligtning	+ Good sub DPS that is AoE oriented, high survivability with own HP restoration skill - Best buffs to her kit are gated behind Potential, making her more expensive overall

C Tier Characters

The C tier ranked units in Black Beacon can still do their job in your team, but are generally visibly weaker than the other units ranked higher.

Nanna Breaker, Dark	+ Can debuff the enemy, but only for herself as the damager, counterintuitive given that she's better geared towards sub DPS - Her kit with the spinning blade takes effort to master for little reward
Enki Breaker, Water	+ He can output some big numbers on Ulltimate if built properly + His skill stays on the field for teammates to benefit from the crowd control - The skill needs correct timing that can get really weird with him positioned in different places on the field
Xin Destruction, Thunder	+ Fast attacks and a repetitive combo will get the job done - Simply outclassed as a thunder damager, cannot hold up to the numbers of other units

D Tier Characters

D tier units either poorly perform in their roles or their combos are too much hassle to learn for too little utility. We don't really recommend using them.

How to Reroll in Black Beacon

Upon installing, the game offers you to log in by binding to a medium of your choice, or to log in as Guest. To easily get your desired units at the very beginning, you should make sure to log in as Guest from the title screen. This way, you will be able to delete your account in-game. The tutorial is lengthy, and pulling for characters is only available once you clear level 1-4, but here are the instructions on how to reroll in Black Beacon.

• From the office screen in-game, click the three dot button in the bottom left corner of the screen
• Click the Settings tile on the right
• Navigate to Account at the bottom of the list on the left
• Click Delete Account at the bottom of the screen
• Press Confirm to delete the account

When you're happy with your initial pulls, don't forget to bind your account in the same Account menu!
