In the recent Valentine's Day Update, the developers added a new shovel called Megalodon to the base game. It is one of the best shovels in the game right now and surpasses the Solar shovel in all stat parameters. So, if you are wondering how to get the Megalodon shovel or want to know its stats, here is a detailed guide.

Megalodon Shovel Unlock Guide - Dig It

The Megalodon Shovel is only available to collect during the Rainstorm Event in Dig It. This is a new event added during the same Valentine's Update that allows users to access a whole set of items and collections much similar to the Lunar Cloud Event. How do you spawn the Rainstorm Event? Well, like any other Event in Dig It, the Rainstorm spawns randomly with a spawn rarity of around 17%. So, all you have to do is wait patiently until the event appears on the server. Alternatively, you can also pay 99 Robux to the Gandolf NPC on Nookville Island to immediately spawn the event on the server.

Irrespective of the method you choose, once the event spawns on the server, head to the middle of the ocean, right in between Nookville and Piratesburg, to find a large blue Ray. Climb on this Ray to find an NPC named Finn and the Megalodon shovel on the edge of the wings. Pay 90,000 in money, and the shovel is all yours. Remember, you must be above level 100+ to get the item.
