Surah Ya Sin (Arabic: يس) is the 36th chapter of the Qur'an. This chapter consists of 83 verses, including the Makkiyah surahs and revealed after Surah al-Jinn. Named Ya Sin because it begins with the letter Ya Sin. As the meaning of the letters of the alphabet is at the beginning of several letters of the Quran, so the meaning of the Sin is found in the beginning of this surah, that Allah says that after the letter will be submitted important things among others: Allah swears by the Quran that Muhammad SAW is truly a Messenger who has been sent to the people who have never been sent to them.
